Many customers feel happy with their addressbook, some customers want more: The contacts should be available in several language versions. Especially in China this might be necessary, e.g.:
- You search for a building with the English name (e.g. HongKong Macao Center), which is hardly known by Chinese. But the Chinese address is what you need later as a print-out for the taxi driver.
- Many Chinese have an additional western name. Keep both, Chinese and western names, in your ContactMgr and you will know that Zhu Liye is the same person as Juliet Zhu. This is also useful on the phone.
- Will you find Zhu Liye without knowing the Chinese characters? Yes, you will! You can enter the name in PinYin (zhu liye) and you will also get 朱 丽叶 as a result.
- And you will find companies as well, even if you don't know their Chinese name: Real SoftService 锐业软服.
- For sure, this also works for German umlauts! Don't worry about Jürgen, Juergen or Jurgen. You will find him.
